Last June 4th the annual Philippine Independence Day Picnic took place in Spaarnwoude and the Kalayaan Fiesta Foundation in the Netherlands (KFFN) chose SLF as its charity of the year. Therefore, €1 of each sold entrance ticket would go to the Sheryl Lynn Foundation.

On August 8th KFFN invited SLF to Schiphol Airport where the total raised amount would be revealed and a donation gift certificate would be officially handed over. We were extremely grateful to have received a fantastic donation of €2500! Share in the joy below and follow us on Facebookas well to stay updated!

 

Below is a thank you message that was filmed during the Philippine Independence Day Picnic in Spaarnwoude, where KFFN gave SLF a special stand in the center of the park, in front of the event's main stage. It was a beautiful & successful day for the Sheryl Lynn Foundation, as we not only raised awareness, we also sold 48 books on Water Management in the Philippines, that were donated to SLF by the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology of Leiden University in order to raise funds. A big thank you therefore goes out to KFFN, Leiden University and ALL VISITORS of the Independence Day Picnic.
